Using the color pallet discovery tool from https://colorpalettefromimage.com/ — we can quickly identify the primary colors in this image. This is a useful tool for web developers that work in CSS. However, it can also be useful for artists, graphics designers, painters, or interior decorators.

If we click the share palette button, it provides a larger pallet, and we can keep the URL for future reference of this natural but unique green and grey color palette. Visit the links to try it yourself, and you can paste the hex codes into your CSS text editor, or graphic design tool, etc.

Let’s try it again with the grey cement background colors removed. To do that we need to create PNG image with a transparent background. The WebP image format also allows a transparent background. (JPGs don’t have that capability.)
There are a number of good image background removal tools available on the internet. In this example, I used canva.com , since that is one of my favorite graphic design tools.
Go ahead and try the Canva image background remover, or use one of the job-specific tools like erase.bg , removal.ai , remove.bg, or Pixlr’s https://pixlr.com/remove-background/
Now that is a nice looking leaf, all by itself.
